Precious Moments Family Reunion 2013
Hiko Maeda was back in Singapore on the 5th and 6th of October. Over the two days, Hiko met hundreds of Precious Moments collectors, signed thousands of figurines and danced to the tuned of Gang Nam style with the four lovely and hilarious PM mascots.

Hiko also brought along a clay model of Home Is Wherever I'm With You. It was also the first time I saw a PM clay model and was fascinated by it. I got to find out that from this clay model, a mold to create the actual figurine will be made.

Hiko Maeda is back in Singapore for a 2 days signing event at Raffles City. It is also our local Precious Moments retail store, Precious Thots' 15th Anniversary. Precious Moments even launches 2 Precious Thots exclusive to celebrate this joyous occasion: Sail-abrating My Life With You and Many Years Filled With Precious Thots.
We are happy to meet Hiko again! |
Such a waste that the wall papers would be destroyed after the 2 days event. |

On 23 and 24 Oct 2010, PM Master Sculptor Hiko Maeda was here at Raffles City for his very first signing event in Singapore. A Precious Thots exclusive figurine, Thots of You Make Life Sweeter, was also launched during the event.
Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Precious Moments Chapel, a Reunion Event will be held at Precious Moments Park, Cathage, MO, on the 18th of June to the 21th of June. I am so glad that the event figurine depicts an angel with the good old "pancake halo" and wings. It will surely be on my "Most Wanted" list.
"We are proud to announce the 2009 Family Reunion at the Chapel celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Chapel. Come be a part of the re-dedication the Chapel to the Lord on the exact day that it was originally dedicated 20 years ago on June 18th, 1989."
Eugene Freedman, Precious Moments Goodwill Ambassador, passed away on Tuesday , Feb 19 2008, in Hawaii. Let us all remember the contribution he had made to Precious Moments figurine collections. His signature smile and friendly character will always be remembered by us.
This figurine will be available shortly at your nearest Precious Thots.
Paying tribute to dedication and inspiration of Eugene Freedman with this one-of-a-kind commemorative keepsake figurine, which depicts Mr. Freedman doing what he loved best-bringing his unique artistic vision to the world of Precious Moments.

We have always wanted to visit the Precious Moments Park located in Carthage, Missouri. It is right in the middle of U.S.A, in the part of the country known as The Ozarks. Another place that we look forward to go, will be the Sampaguita Gardens. Mr Sam Butcher, himself, is currently based there. While we are trying to find time and funds to travel, we enjoy going to signing events organise by Precious Thots.
The first signing event was held in 1999 and Sam Butcher was here but we missed that event as we were still not collectors. Our very first signing event was in year 2000 with Eugene Freedman. Over these years, we have met Eugene a few times. Master Sculptor Yasuhei Fujioka was here once and we were so excited meeting him. We never thought that we would be able to see Fujiokia as he has retired and was already 80 years old then. Sam Butcher was here again in 2006 and we were so happy that we were able to meet him after all these years. We were told by Precious Thots staff that this will be his last signing event in Singapore. We were one of the fortunate few that managed to pose a picture with him as no photo requests would be entertained.
Production marks are incised onto the base of each figurines and they tell you the year the piece was made. The list shown below are the production marks for the respective years.
